Who is eligible for Government Heat Pump Hot Water systems in Victoria?
- Property must be located in Victoria and over 24 months of age.
- Existing hot water system must be inefficient electric or gas.
The new heat pumps installed must be:
- listed on the register of solar water heaters.
- up to 425 L
- Household income must fall within specified guidelines prior to taxation.
- Applicants must be owner-occupiers of homes with a valuation below a specified limit.
- Replacement hot water system must be older than 3 years from the date of purchase.
